Established in 1987, Greater Community is committed to the proclamation of God’s perfect Law and of the glorious Gospel of His grace through all the world.
I have been saved for over 32 years and have participated in ministry for 30 of those years. The Lord audibly spoke to me during my time of waywardness. Upon hearing a distant but familiar voice, I immediately obeyed His instruction to go to the house of the Lord; it was there that I experienced firsthand, miracles, signs, and wonders, of God’s majestic power.
I love the Lord with the totality of my heart, mind, and soul; and am willing to do whatever He tells me to do. I promised to do it with all that I am, whether liked or disliked, loved or hated—Jesus is Lord.
This is a lifestyle for each disciple of Christ and the church collectively. We must desire it, just like the air we breathe.
We live for the things of God; we stand for righteousness and holy living. The Word is our guidebook and plumb line for all activities regardless of popular opinion.
Regardless of setbacks, tribulations, signs of the times and the like, we will increase numerically, spiritually, financially, and socially.
As the needs of Christendom changes, we will do those things God leads us to do, not for popularity but for necessity.
We do not judge the fallen but pray for their deliverance. We abhor self-righteousness and false piety, but embrace the contrite spirit.
“I have been told numerous times that the church is full of hypocrites, adulterers, thieves, bigots, and liars. I must admit that it is, but where else do spiritually sick people go to get healed? In a sense, the church is like Noah’s Ark. The Ark was jammed packed with the stench of animal and human waste, not to mention the sicknesses associated with them both, but it was the only place of safety. Let’s worship God while we still can. Let’s come together in the ark of safety so that God can do what He does best—heal, deliver, and set His people Free.”
